Have you recently installed SampleManager or upgraded it from an old version, and wanted to use the Report Designer feature, but didn’t know where to start?

This course is designed to help you get started developing reports your users need using Report Designer. It will explain the basic concepts of the Report Designer and walk you through the creation of two basic reports from scratch.

You will learn: 

• How to create reports using Report Designer
• Report Designer concepts such as Report Bands, Grouping, Formulas, and Formatting
• How to make the reports you build available to your users

By the end of this course, you will know how to create basic report templates in SampleManager, and provide the resulting reports to your end-users. A final exam will be issued to ensure you fully understood the material. All passing grades of 80% or better will receive a certificate of completion. You will have the ability to re-take the exam.  This course is available to stream as much as you'd like for 60 days!  

REQUIREMENTS

The course is designed for people unfamiliar with Report Templates. It’s recommended, however, that you have some background working with SampleManager, including familiarity with the different SampleManager data entities such as Samples, Tests, Results, and MLPs.  The instructor will be teaching from version 12.2 SP1 but you can still follow along using versions 10 or 11 with only slight differences.
